Farewell Loyal Friends

It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing the end of this blog.  I've enjoyed getting to know so many new and talented writers over the past several years during which I've been putting these posts together.

When I first started the blog, my intention was to share writing related essays in order to give back to the writing community. With the advent of the Internet, I was introduced to many other writers who shared their knowledge with me.  I felt it was important that I do so as well.  I soon realized I didn't have the time to devote to new articles every week and still keep up my other writing interests.

It occurred to me that others would be interested in meeting new and upcoming writers.  Thus began the current incarnation of this blog...a venue to introduce a wide variety of writing talent to my followers.

I hope you've all enjoyed reading these posts and have found new authors to try and books to enjoy.  I know I have.  In fact, some of my guests I now consider good cyber friends.

I wish to also thank all of my guests for sharing their stories and writing advice, many of whom offered free books and swag to people who commented on the blog posts.

The blog will, of course, remain in cyberspace, so if you were a guest and want to refer fans to a specific post, you can still do that.  Also, from time to time, I may have news I wish to share, or something I feel might interest you.

In the meantime, I want to wish each of you the best of luck in your own writing careers.

  1. I completely understand. We can only be stretched so far. I wish you much success as you continue to write. Thanks for the encouragement you've given to so many writers along the way. God bless you!

  2. Thanks for all you've done over the years. A blog is a huge commitment and yours has been of great encouragement and interest. All the best in your new (or continuing but in your first love) endeavours in 2016!

  3. Penny...Thank You! My first editing partner and one of my first authors to work with. I value those times and continue to value our friendship. HUGS

  4. Thanks everyone who stopped by to comment and say goodbye. It's been a good run, and in many ways, I'll miss these weekly posts.

  5. Hi Penny, Thank you for sharing interesting and helpful information. I wish you the best.
